The product is wide enough so that you can still swing wide and feel the stop. I bought the Accupark to replace a produt that I bought at Lowes where the wheel drove over a bump into a grove. The tape that holds the product to the garage floor has worked out nicely and has held up during a lot of rain and moisture. Unfortunately, the product was made out of plastic and broke down over time. Hence, the Accupark which has been a great product. The plastic is heavy duty and after 9 months of use, has not worn down at all.Easy to use, simple to install, I just purchased by second Accupark for the other car. This won't let you down.
The 2 Camco 44442 RV AccuPark garage stops were the perfect solution as to how far you pull forward in the garage so that the door will close behind the cars. We recently took out two 8x7 garage doors in our 3 car garage and put in an 18ft. door so that it would be easier to put both of our vehicles in the garage. When you pull in you have no doubt when you have reached the stops. Great product.
I was a little disappointed because I thought this will come with two stopper so that I can stop both front wheel in the garage but it is only one and I need to buy two. Also, it is a little two low (little bump) and my SUV can easily go over it.
We purchased the AccuPark because of the tight fit in our garage with two cars. After one month of using it with two cars, they are still secure on the floor of the garage. They work great. We took the advise of another review and drive up to the AccuPark strip and once we hit it, back off to releave the pressure on the strip. Very low profile also, so you don't trip over them when the cars are not in the garage. I definately rate the AccuPark 5 stars.
Just a quick note to say this product worked for my wife's side of the garage. She has a mini van and the front end makes it difficult to judge distance. This product worked to stop the van at the right place every time allowing us to walk around the front of the van and access some shelves we have for storage. I thought at first it was better if it was taller to stop the car, but once you use it for a while it helps you know when to stop(smile)
